About Us
Nic & Hannah's Story
We met on May 11, 2018 and almost crashed into each other in the parking lot of our first date spot! We got engaged on February 7, 2020 on the beach in California at sunset, although Hannah was distracted by some dogs on the beach and almost missed it!
Then COVID happened. Planning a pandemic wedding was stressful, but ultimately it all worked out well!
We were married on August 28, 2020. A hurricane was supposed to come through that day but we were blessed with a beautiful, sunny day!
Throughout our relationship we knew we needed something more. One week after our wedding, we attended Sunday service with some friends at their church. On that day we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and our lives have never been the same since!
On July 30, 2022 we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. James Elwood, named after two of his great grandfathers, has been such a blessing!
In order to have more time at home with James, Hannah decided to try photography, and fell in love with it! She is completely self taught and taught Nic everything he knows!

Eight28 Photography is inspired by our anniversary, August 28, and by our family Bible verse, Romans 8:28.
